The Digital Financial Services (DFS) Unit is responsible for extending delivery of financial services to the low income, socially marginalized and previously unbanked through innovative technology such as mobile phone enabled solutions, electronic banking models and other digital payment platforms.

DFS models usually employ agents or merchants, and the networks of other third-party intermediaries to improve accessibility and lower the service delivery cost.

Responsibilities

• The DFS Manager will focus on use of mobile money, electronic payments and other payment channels to extend financial services to the target market segment.
• The DFS manager will work across various Business Units and the PMO to successfully implement and launch new DFS offerings.
• Develop, design and implement new functionality for DFS delivery channels.
• OverseeAgent network management

Job Requirements

• Undergraduate degree is highly desirable.
• Practical digital experience with any of; a Mobile Network Operator, a Development Agency, a Bank, a Non-Bank Financial Institution, or other Payment Service Provider.
