Kumul Consolidated Holdings (KCH) is a Statutory Corporation with a clearly defined mandate to build shareholder wealth and to improve the provision of services to the people of Papua New Guinea. KCH is the holding company for nine majority State Owned Enterprises (SOE) operating in the sectors of agriculture, aviation, banking & financial services, insurance, maritime infrastructure, power, post and logistics, telecommunications, and water & sanitation. KCH also manages a number of key infrastructure projects in various sectors throughout PNG.

PNG Ports Corporation Limited (PNGPCL) is an SOE whose ownership is vested in trust with KCH on behalf of the Government of PNG.

PNGPCL serves the nation’s needs for the transportation of goods and people and acts as Papua New Guinea’s gateway to the world as the primary national port facilities provider.

PNGPCL is seeking a Managing Director who will have the ultimate responsibility for the day to day running of PNGPCL by working with the Board and the Management Team to competently and effectively manage the affairs of the organisation.

Job requirements

The ideal candidate will be a strategist and a leader able to steer PNGPCL to the most profitable direction while also implementing its vision, mission and long term goals.

As the successful candidate, you will possess Post Graduate qualifications in Finance, Business Management or related field with a Minimum of 10 years demonstrated executive management experience managing medium to large scale organisations.
