The Nature Conservancy (TNC) seeks applications for the role of Marine Conservation Coordinator – Milne Bay for its PNG Marine Program.
Responsibilities
- Develops, manages and advances conservation programs, plans and methods for large- scale geographic areas.
- Provides technical leadership and support to our stakeholders in Milne Bay.
- Utilises community-based natural resource management (CBRM) to manage marine conservation, tropical fisheries, food security and sustainable livelihoods.
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor of arts, science, law or business degree anda minimum of five years’ experience in natural resource management or related field of equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong work ethics as self-driven and team player, with strict adherence to timelines.
- Proven experience in negotiation, supervision, stakeholder management and strong communication skills (both verbal and written.
