Role overview

This full‐time management position forms part of the Port Moresby Nature Park Management Team and is responsible for leading their team of dedicated marketing and communications professionals in the successful implementation of the strategic marketing plan for the organisation. This strategy has a key focus on maximizing exposure across all target market segments, ensure effective promotion of events, delivering frequent media exposure, conducting market research and developing the Nature Park into a recognizable and respected brand both locally and internationally.

Duties & responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager, Commercial Operations this position is responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Implementation of the annual Strategic Marketing Plan including modifying, reviewing and expanding on the Plan as marketing demands change;
• Manages a team of 5 marketing and graphics professionals to achieve day to day marketing objectives effectively

Job requirements

• Excellent English and Pidgin communication;
• Excellent leadership and management ability;
• Must be reliable, hardworking, motivated and flexible;

Education and qualifications

• Bachelor Business (Marketing) or equivalent; and
• A minimum of 5 years working experience in a management position preferably within a Marketing Department
