They are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Marketing and Communications professional to join their dedicated team in the position of Marketing and Communications Manager.

Role overview

This full-time management position forms part of the Port Moresby Nature Park Management Team and is responsible for leading their team of dedicated marketing and communications professionals in the successful implementation of the strategic marketing plan for the organisation. This strategy has a key focus on maximizing exposure across all target market segments, ensure effective promotion of events, delivering frequent media exposure, conducting market research and developing the Nature Park into a recognizable and respected brand both locally and internationally.

Job requirements

• Excellent English and Pidgin communication;
• Excellent leadership and management ability;
• Must be reliable, hardworking, motivated and flexible;
• Have the ability to work independently according to the Marketing schedule and as a team with other departments
• Must be well-organised, have good time management skills and be able to multi-task; and
• Must have a passion for promoting PNG, education, the natural environment and for wanting to build a legacy facility for the Country.

Education and qualifications

• Bachelor Business (Marketing) or equivalent; and
• A minimum of 5 years working experience in a management position preferably within a Marketing Department

This is a full-time position and from time to time this role may be required to attend special events held at the Park on weekends for marketing purposes and to coordinate media activities.
