Mainland Holdings Limited is looking to hire a Mechanical Maintenance Manager.

Mainland Holdings Limited is a leading producer and distributor of Fresh, Frozen and Day Old Chickens, Fresh Eggs, as well as producing Stock Feed and Flour products under the 3 Roses brand.  Mainland are looking to hire a Mechanical Maintenance Manager.

This Position will base at 9 Mile workshop, Lae and will be responsible for the efficient management of the maintenance and engineering requirements of the Company.

Key responsibilities

• Direct maintenance teams to achieve efficient maintenance of the poultry process plant, mills, vehicle workshop, farms, hatcheries and other building properties
• Ensure that planned maintenance schedules for all Company assets are implemented effectively across all areas
• Deliver training in all aspects of plant and farm maintenance and ensure an effective apprenticeship training program is implemented

Qualifications & skills

• Have tertiary qualifications in an engineering discipline preferred or trades qualification in mechanical, civil or electrical.
• Have at least 10 years’ experience in maintenance planning and management in a big reputable company
• Demonstrate excellent communication and computer skills
