Mainland Holdings Limited has a vacancy for a highly motivated National Sales & Marketing Manager to provide leadership to its sales and marketing teams.

Mainland Holdings Limited is a leading producer and distributor of fresh, frozen and live day-olds chickens, fresh eggs, as well as producing stock feed and flour products under the 3 Roses brand in Papua New Guinea. Mainland Holdings over the last 40 years are household names within PNG: Tablebirds, Mainland Crocodile Farm, 3 Roses Flour, Tablebirds Stock Feed, Get Cracking Eggs and retail franchise Moale Trading.

Tablebirds is seeking a highly motivated person with a proven sales track record to provide leadership to the sales and marketing teams. Based in Lae and a member of the senior management team reporting to the Chief Executive officer. The incumbent will be required to:

• Achieve and exceed sales budgets
• Establish effective marketing, promotional and advertising programs to support sales growth objectives developed in the annual sales and marketing plan.
• Oversee new product development.

Job requirements

• Possess appropriate qualifications and experience in business or in marketing, preferably with appropriate tertiary qualifications.
• At least 10 years’ experience in sales or marketing position within the food or feedstock industries with at least 5 years in a management role
• Experience in the food or poultry industries would be desirable.
• Be an excellent communicator with proven negotiating skills
• Demonstrated the capacity to work under pressure
