Peopleconnexion’s client is seeking to hire a National Warehouse Manager for their Lae operation. The active role is centred around one of the most intensive industries in Papua New Guinea.

To support their growth across the country, our client is now searching for a National Warehouse Manager, Lae to coordinate the direction and overall operations of multiple sites.

This role is well suited to a driven leader who wants to grow professionally and is searching for a platform to make a real impact. In this influential position, you would:

• Lead overall strategy for warehousing across sites, including performance, controls and operational management
• Analyse financial, performance and trend data to identify areas for operational efficiencies and high-level process improvements
• Champion change across the supply chain unit, bringing in new initiatives to improve the business
• Develop and oversee people management and development plans across sites

• Bachelor in Business Management / Commerce
• Demonstrated experience in a multi-site and multi-functional business environment
• Strong management experience in FMCG
• Demonstrated experience in stock movement planning and inventory control
• Strong leadership qualities – you champion new ideas, know how to influence, negotiate, problem-solve and empower others to drive change
• Clear communicator – you can articulate your strategies, distill complex information and adapt your style when needed
