Consort Express is welcoming applications for the Operations Manager position.
Consort Express Lines are currently seeking to recruit a qualified and competent person for the position of Operations Manager to be based in Port Moresby.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with Stevedores, Port Authority and all relevant third parties to ensure company is compliant with all shipping regulations and safe handling of cargo through the outport.
- Monitor Stevedores productivity in cargo handling and overall vessel turnaround time.
- Monitor movement of vessels through the outport and optimize berthing performance.
Requirements
- Tertiary Level Qualification in Shipping Management, Business Management or related field of studies.
- Three years experience in shipping management related roles.
- Experience with a cargo documentation management system such as cargo wise System.
