Paladin is seeking a suitable candidate for the position of Payroll Manager.

Paladin is seeking a suitable candidate for the Human Resource Department to play a role of Payroll Manager and must be a resident within Port Moresby.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintains payroll information by designing systems; directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data.
  • Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles, and department/ division transfers.
  • Pays employees by directing the production and issuance of pay checks or electronic transfers to bank accounts.
  • Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages.
  • Determines payroll liabilities by approving the calculation of employee annual leave, sick leave, long service leave, and workers compensation payments.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration with an emphasis in Accounting.
  • 5+ years’ previous experience as an accountant, accounting supervisor, manager, or related position.
