Hargy Oil Palms Limited is seeking an experienced and qualified person to fill in the position of Plantation Divisional Managers and Plantation Managers.

Hargy Oil Palms Limited (HOPL) is an Oil Palm plantation company based in the peaceful town of Bialla, West New Britain Province, Papua New Guinea. A remote picturesque location situated approximately 2 and half hours drive east of the Provincial Capital of Kimbe. The company is seeking an experienced & qualified person to fill in this vacancy;

The position

Reporting to the Head of Plantation, the Plantation Manager must be able to demonstrate following;

• Ensure that the upkeep and harvesting programs are within budget.
• Manage the planting program ensuring profitability and long term viability of the company.
• Oversee transport management to maximize utilization of the transport fleet.
• Manage the budget within the agreed physical, time, quality and efficiency parameters

Job requirements

Successful candidates must have

• Qualification in Agronomy
• 5+ years experience in Tropical Tree Crop Growth
• Plantation Management experience
• Able to cope with uncertainty
