Key responsibilities
To establish and ensure adherence to guidelines for all procurement activities, including the planning, acquisition and management of goods, supplies, expendable property, plant and equipment and services by the company. The candidate will be ensuring that all procurement activities and suppliers providing products, goods or services are governed by the Company’s Procurement Policy and will be tasked with the following:
- Provide a framework for disciplined procurement decision-making that focuses on value enhancement and cost reduction that aligns to corporate social responsibility including operating health, safety and security and environmental protection requirements with investment risk and meets the external and internal clients
- Define responsibilities for Procurement staff activities
Job requirements
The successful candidate for this position must have:
- Tertiary Degree in Business Management –Majoring in Accounting or Economics.
- Experience in strategic Sourcing & Tender Process and materials planning
- At least 10 years or more experience as Procurement Manager at an FMCG Company.
- Strong analytical and project management skills
