Program Manager


Kumul Foundation Inc is seeking a highly professional Program Manager to join their operations.

Head Hunters Recruitment have been assigned to source professionals for Kumul Foundation Inc, a non-profit organisation that designs & implements programs & activities that contribute to PNG’s national development. The Foundation’s flagship programme is the Kumul GameChangers (KGC) Entrepreneurship programme, delivered in partnership with Australian Aid.

The Foundation is now seeking a highly professional Program Manager to join their operations. The newly created position contributes to the effective management & delivery of operations & programs.

Reporting to the board this role is responsible for effective Management of the Foundation & the Kumul GameChangers programme. Planning, development & delivery on strategic foundation goals is essential for success in this position, together with effective day to day operations. Ideal for a person with an entrepreneurial mindset who has worked in delivery of aid programs previously.

Job requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Economics, Political Science, Project Management, Business Administration/Management, Finance, Development or a relevant field.
  • Robust understanding of private sector development and principles of inclusive economic growth, with specific knowledge of the PNG context highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of the startup/entrepreneurial ecosystem in PNG and abroad.
  • Distinguished record of entrepreneurial and executive experience as well as non-profit and/or government acumen.
  • Minimum of ten years’ demonstrated experience in program management including managing multiple activities (budgeting, financial reporting, M&E) in a large and complex environment.
  • Excellent written reporting and verbal communication skills.
