FHI 360 has a vacancy for an experienced and qualified project manager for the role of Project Director.

FHI 360 is seeking qualified individuals for the Project Director – Port Moresby role.

Responsibilities

The Project Director will be under supervision of Country Representative and will provide day-to-day supervision of Program Managers for Gender and Family Planning, Project Coordinator for Family Support project, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, at FHI 360 Country Office and Program Officers posted in Mt. Hagen, WHP; Nuku and Aitape in Sandun (West Sepik) Province and Maprik in East Sepik Province. S/he shall provide overall program management oversight for the Gender and Family Planning projects, with management support from the Country Representative.

Requirements

• Post-graduate degree in one of the following or related fields: Gender Studies, Development Studies, Development Management, Social Work, Project Management
• Demonstrated management and leadership skills working on large programs with rigorous financial management procedures and processes
• Minimum of five (5) years’ program/project management experience in Pacific preferably in Papua New Guinea
