PNG Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church seeks a talented individual for the position of Project Manager.

The focus of the Papua New Guinea Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is the spreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the spiritual nurture of its constituents and the professional management of the church, its organization and facilities.

The Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in PNG is TO MAKE DISCIPLES (Matt. 28:18-20) and WITNESS in the context of the Three Angels Message (Rev. 14:6-12) through the  Empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

The Central Papua Conference Administrative Office based in Ela Beach has following vacancy. Any interested applicants must be practicing and baptised Members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with a strong commitment to church’s mission and upholds the standards and lifestyle it teaches.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the planning, implementation and evaluation of any conference capital projects within a given time.
• Undertake full responsibility and accountability of the project at hand.
• Ensure that through effectiveness management of the identified projects, the Conference achieves the measurable organizational value intended.

Job requirements

• A comprehensive working knowledge of the church and its management throughout the conference.
• Previous work experience as Project Manager and knowledge of PMBOK are essential.
• A tertiary degree in Management is desirable.
