Pacific Palms Property is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced person to fill the role of Property Manager. The successful candidate will report to the National Property Manager.

The Property Manager will have the full responsibility of managing daily operations of the business relating to property and letting management in Lae, Morobe Province. . Tasks including maintaining property rentals, marketing and filling vacancies, screening prospective tenants, enforcing leases, securing premises and oversee building maintenance functions.

Essential skills and demonstrated technical capabilities

• Knowledge of property management, property construction, the building industry and real estate markets including knowledge of building codes, fire codes and related laws and standards.
• Knowledge of leasing processes including relevant legislative framework in which PPP operates;
• Coordination of suppliers ensuring cost of sales and other real solutions within budget;
• Effective business acumen, financial skills and knowledge in Pronto;
• Effective communication skills;
• Reliable and able to work under pressure, adaptive to regularly changing conditions and working flexible hours as demanded by the position;

Job requirements

To be considered for this position, it is essential that you possess the following:

• Degree in Property Management / Real Estate or related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in building, property, maintenance or similar role.
• Verifiable knowledge and experience with property management, construction and project implementation.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is essential.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license equivalent to class 3 in PNG.
• Remuneration for the position will be generous and commensurate to the successful applicant’s skills and experience.
