Located at their Gordons Office in Port Moresby, the Public Affairs Manager’s objective is to safeguard the reputation of Coca-Cola Amatil and build their people’s pride in the Amatil brand, products, government relations, sustainability and corporate brand and events.

The purpose of this role is to develop, inform and advise the PNG Country Leadership Team (CLT) on the development and execution of strategies to address political, regulatory and reputational issues across the PNG business unit.

Job requirements

  • A strong understanding of the public affairs, communications and sustainability landscape and the inter-relationship between disciplines (external communications, internal communications, digital and social, government, sustainability and community)
  • Well organised with the ability to create clear, concise and meaningful information from complex and detailed content
  • Desire to build and develop this unique role by building strong relationships across the team and business and using own initiative
