PNG Air is currently seeking a Quality Systems Lead Auditor based at its headquarters at Jacksons International Airport in Port Moresby.

PNG Air with its new fleet of ATR 72-600 series aircraft and a workforce of over 750 is now one of the largest airline operators in this region with extensive operations in the domestic network. The airline is also expanding rapidly to cater for the phenomenal growth in the Papua New Guinea economy.

PNG Air is currently seeking a Quality Systems Lead Auditor based at its headquarters at Jacksons International Airport in Port Moresby. The incumbent will be responsible for leading Aviation related Audits at all PNG Air locations, compiling audit reports and monitoring corrective and preventative actions to ensure appropriate action has been taken and findings can be closed appropriately.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits as the Lead Auditor in accordance with PNG Air’s Quality Management System (QMS) Manual and the Audit Schedule as promulgated by the Manager Quality Systems
• Compile Audit Reports in accordance with PNG Air’s QMS Manual
• Process Audit reports into the Aviation Quality Database (AQD)
• Raise, assign and track audit findings in AQD

Job requirements

Qualifications/Experiences/Skills

• Essential – Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Aviation Industry
• Essential – Must have a minimum or 1 years’ experience as a Lead Auditor
• Essential – Must hold a Lead Auditors Certificate
• Must be computer literate and experienced with Microsoft Office 365 tools
