The Pacific Development & Training Institute seeks an innovative, solutions-focused QWHSE Manager to support security and transport operations across PNG. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an international, ISO certified group of companies and support the safety and wellbeing of their staff and clients.

Responsibilities

• Actively support, lead and champion the Corporate QWHSE Strategy to build an integrative and supportive management system that is compliant to relevant international standards
• Coordinate and facilitate timely, expert QWHSE advice and assistance to managers/supervisors, QWHSE Advisors and Officers and assist them to manage QWHSE requirements, this will also include the active promotion of WHSE policies, procedures, plans, systems and other initiatives
• Support and lead incident investigation teams to ensure effective investigation methodology and reporting to identify root causes of incidents

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant area
• Minimum of 5 years in a similar role
• Strong working knowledge of the professional requirements related to Quality, Workplace Health, Safety, and Environment Management and relevant PNG legislation
