Job description

Tininga Ltd is a young, well established and rapidly expanding retail operation, trading in the busy city of Mount Hagen, the hub of the Highlands Region. Focused on providing extensive services in the Supermarket, Department Store, Distribution, Manufacturing, Builders Hardware and Fresh Produce industries.

This is a new and senior position with overall responsibility for the Company’s Risk Management processes. It would involve reviewing existing processes and procedures, then designing and managing the implementation of improvements to same throughout the Company.

Job requirements

• Tertiary qualification preferably in Business Management or Business Studies
• Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety recognized by National Training Council of PNG.
• Proven commercial/industrial experience in a senior management position with evidence of strong leadership skills, management and implementation of Occupational Health and safety Standards and Procedures.
• Ability to conduct policy and compliance audits relating to safety standards and procedures.
