Safety Manager


Anitua Group is looking for a qualified and experienced person to fill the position of Safety Manager at Anitua Mining Services.

Currently Anitua is seeking for a qualified and experienced person to fill the position of Safety Manager at Anitua Mining Services

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene, safety management, environmental science, occupational health, basic or applied science or any other related field.
  • Certifications preferred: Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) or Certified Biological Safety Professional
  • At least 10 years of direct safety experience (5 within the mining industry).
  • Knowledge of PNG Mine Safety act and regulation as administered by the MRA, employment act (chapter 373), Environment act, CEPA and Workers Compensation regulations.
  • Leadership skills necessary to achieve AMS objectives.
