Job description

• Sell balanced portfolio of instruments and consumables to business and industry though out PNG.
• Provide competitive information for such things as quotes, bid situations, pricing data, and instrument bundling arrangements
• Perform product demonstrations, installations, and application support.
• Coordinate with field labour crews for efficient product installations.
• Co-ordinate the establishment of a special purpose repair, test and recalibration facility.
• Conduct all calibrations and testing activities is a safe and efficient manner following all necessary requirements for the job at hand.
• Complete Job Cards including all Quality Assurance documentation for all testing and calibration activities.
• Communicate with customers and supervisors on the progress of their job/jobs and provide reports in kind.
• Provide quality training and skills transfer to other Fimali personnel.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 3/4 year Diploma or Degree in an Engineering or Applied Physics or Instrumentation discipline is essential.
• Completion of specialty post graduate courses relating to Instrumentation and Calibration highly desirable.
• Minimum 3-4years work experience in the oil, gas or mining industry and have verifiable references desirable but not essential.
• Thorough knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Confident and calm personality with good communications skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimum supervision.
• Be of sober habits.
