Kina Bank Limited is currently seeking to recruit Senior Compliance Officer to join their Risk & Compliance Team based at the Head Office, Port Moresby. This role reports to the Manager–Compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting the Compliance Manager to implement and supervise Kina Bank Limited’s Compliance Program
• Provide oversight and monitor compliance to regulatory and prudential obligations
• Assist in developing and implementing an effective Compliance Risk Management Framework that includes a risk-based compliance monitoring programme, identifying all compliance obligations, assessing and monitoring compliance risks, and reporting all material compliance risks exposures.

Qualifications & skills

• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Finance, Business or Law
• 5 years or more experience in a compliance and risk management oversight role, at least 3 of which have been spent in the banks and financial services industry.
• Sound knowledge of the regulatory environment and relevant industry standards.
• Implementing and managing an effective compliance program
