The New Ireland Government is seeking competent senior managers and senior specialists to fill their three vacant Senior Executive Management and three vacant Senior Specialist positions within the New Ireland Provincial Administration. If you are an experienced senior manager or experienced lawyer, auditor or Assembly Clerk who is highly motivated, have a ‘can do ‘attitude and are able to provide effective leadership or specialist services to the New Ireland Provincial Administration then they are offering you an excellent career opportunity. This is an exciting time in New Ireland and they have introduced innovative policies and programs that are guided by the vision of the New Ireland Declaration and exist nowhere else in PNG:

• The first Province to introduce free and subsidised Education
• We have Roof Over Heads (subsidised roofing iron)
• Ward level Projects, providing funds directly to the Wards
• Lighting New Ireland Solar Lights Policy
• WaSH to provide toilet and fresh water facilities for New Ireland
• Australian Doctors International Partnership to improve health care

They seek talented and hard working professionals to join them to make New Ireland autonomous and a model Province in PNG. The six vacant positions will be employed under the National Public Service Senior Officer Performance Based Contract and the three Senior Executive Management positions will also be employed under a New Ireland Government Incentive Contract. An initial three year period is being offered with further extensions to these contracts offered to those who have performed satisfactorily.
