The Ombudsman Commission of Papua New Guinea is seeking a senior investigator to join its team.

The Ombudsman Commission of Papua New Guinea is an independent constitutional institution established by the Constitution to protect and promote good leadership and governance in Papua New Guinea. The Commission operates under two (2) important Organic Laws and these are the Organic Law on the Ombudsman Commission (OLOC) and Organic Law on the Duties and Responsibilities of Leadership (OLDRL).

The OLOC deals with the normal traditional Ombudsman role of ensuring the Government Bodies are responsive to the needs and aspirations of the people. The OLDRL enforces the Leadership Code to ensure that all leaders’ conducts and operations are within the precincts of the Code.

The Commission has immediate vacancy for appropriately qualified, experienced and highly motivated people with the personal drive to produce real results. Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they are of sound reputation and character.
