Kina Bank is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Investment Analyst.

The role will undertake a variety of activities related to Investment Analysis. These may include, but not limited to, conducting research and analysis of the broader market environment, specific securities, government issued fixed interest, international funds, specific private equity investment projects and general administrative matters that are related to the management of funds.

Key responsibilities

• Research, record, analyse and interpret financial information correctly and efficiently to aid investment decisions in a timely manner
• Perform financial analysis; primarily fixed interest, equities and properties using a range of standard tools such as discounted cash flow analysis, comparable analysis, IRR analysis, etc.
• Compile and maintain statistical research on markets and the economy

Requirements

• Tertiary Qualifications (Bachelor’s degree or higher) in Banking and Finance, Economics, Accounting
• 7 years’ experience in a similar industry undertaking the role of a senior investment analyst or in a corporate setting undertaking analysis for internal capital expenditure projects.
• Commercial Acumen with broad knowledge of the PNG economy and the corporate and business sector in PNG
