The PNG Roads Fund is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced personnel to fill the Senior Manager Business Development role based in Port Moresby.

Responsibilities

• Undertake the development of the Road User Charges (RUCs) Rates that reflects the optimum cost of maintaining the National Road Network
• Explore funding sources and provide sound investment advice to grow and protect the fund within the legislative parameters of the Road (Management and Fund) Act and the Public Finances (management).
• Undertake a comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategy for the timely implementation of the Road User Charges.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience, including management of financial assets that reflects client’s objectives including risk management strategies associated with respective investment assets that PNG Road Fund approves.
• Had experience in implementing prudent cash management strategies consistent with approved investment and risk management policies
• Demonstrated leadership experience in providing sound investment advice on fund management functions at executive level management in government agencies and public sector organisations.
