Kumul Consolidated Holdings (KCH) is a Statutory Corporation with a clearly defined mandate to build shareholder wealth and to improve the provision of services to the people of Papua New Guinea. KCH is the holding company for twelve Majority State Owned Enterprises (SOE) operating in the sectors of aviation, banking & financial services, insurance, maritime infrastructure, power, post & logistics, telecommunications, water & sanitation. KCH is also the manager of a number of infrastructure projects in various sectors.

Reporting to the Executive Manager, the Senior Portfolio Manager will be responsible for effectively administering and managing Financial Transactions undertaken by KCH to meet its corporate mandate and statutory responsibilities.

Job requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated:

Essential competencies

• Degree in Accounting, Business or Economics with relevant majors
• Relevant post graduate qualifications would be an advantage
• Member of a registered professional body

Experience

• 10 + years’ in a similar role in the private sector
• Experience in financial modelling, merger and acquisition, company valuations and economic modelling
• In-depth working knowledge of corporate finance, M&A, financial analysis and privatisation principles, methodologies and standards
