Senior Sales Manager


Join Coral Sea Hotels as their new Senior Sales Manager.

Coral Sea Hotels is a subsidiary under Steamships, who have been operating in Papua New Guinea for more than 100 years. The company enjoy high recognition for its integrity and community engagement and is involved in all layers of community to be an integral part of the development of PNG.

With higher demand in the business they are seeking to recruit a high-performing Senior Sales Manager to help them meet their customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping their company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing their sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management.

The successful candidate will be based in their Port Moresby Head Office and will report directly to the Group General Manager.

Primary Role

  • The role have high expectations in terms of personal as well as professional performance and integrity both on and off work;
  • The role is responsible to develop and foster business through proactive direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, appointment calls and tour of the hotels

Job requirements

Essential skills and demonstrated technical capabilities:

  • Competence to build and effectively manage internal and external relationships that meet CSH core values;
  • Decision making capabilities based on analytical skills to determine market trends and analyse performance;
  • A person with sales focused personality who are reliable and who can manage a small team of staff effectively in a busy corporate hospitality environment. Strong focus on results, network, guest satisfaction, corporate service and consistency in procedures and standards
