MRDC is seeking expressions of interest for the role of Supervisor Sustainable Development.

MRDC is seeking a competent, experienced and self-motivated candidate, based in Port Moresby who will be directly responsible for monitoring, supervising, and coordinating all Community Infrastructure Trust Fund (CITF) projects in the beneficiary communities.

The incumbent will directly report to the Manager – Asset & Infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for implementing all active community investment projects in affected beneficiary communities
• Monitor and supervise community investment projects to ensure cost, quality, and schedule target is met.
• Liaise with community representatives, stakeholder representative, contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery of projects.

Qualifications & skills

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline, building, or architecture.
• A background in project management, survey, quantity survey, community affairs in resource projects, remote project experience are preferred.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
