Technical Facilities Manager

Looking for a change? Our client has a vacancy for a Technical Facilities Manager.

The Technical Facilities Manager will be responsible for making sure that facilities, sites and their services meet the needs and expectations of the clients and team members that work, reside and trade in them. The facilities manager will also be responsible for all building maintenance with things like heating and air conditioning, managing contractors and third party vendors, training team members and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Planning building maintenance and operational programs
  • Managing all vendor contracts
  • Ensuring the efficiency of all building systems
  • Coordinating site safety programs

Job requirements

  • Be able to learn and understand the technical side of back-up generators and systems, fire alarm systems, security systems, elevators, air-conditioning, etc
  • Experience in maintenance management of either hotels or commercial environments such as office buildings, retail centres, apartment buildings
  • People person. Able to engage with people of various back grounds and at all levels
  • Follows all company policies and procedures
