The Gabinga Group of Companies is looking for an experienced Transport Operation Manager.

Gabiga Group of Companies is a 100% nationally owned company, which incorporates Highlands Food Supplies, Gabiga Transportation and Gabiga Coffee. Its operations and businesses are located in Eastern Highlands Province and Lae, Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea.

Roles & responsibilities

The Transport Operation Manager will report directly to the Managing Director and is responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Effectively and continuously manage the transport activities of Gabiga Transport,
• Meet annual targets and to diversify current operations to promote growth,
• Manage and plane the daily operational, accounts administration and managing existing customer relations

Qualifications & skills

The ideal candidate must at a minimum satisfy the following criteria:

• A university degree in Business Management, Economics or related fields/discipline,
• Minimum of 5 years in similar managerial positions with general knowledge in all aspects of transport operations and administrations,
• Strong organisational skills for planning schedules, journeys and loads,
