Job Description
Our client is looking for an Underwriting Manager who will be responsible for providing leadership to the underwriting team and manage the functions of the underwriting division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implement effective underwriting strategies, procedures and controls.
- Oversee compliance and ensure practices are guided by underwriting guidelines and appetites.
- Providing hands-on leadership and support to the underwriting team.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business/Finance or related discipline.
- Associate/Senior Associate with ANZIIF.
- At least five (5) years working experience in an insurance industry as an underwriting manager / senior underwriter.
