Anitua Mining Services is currently seeking a Workshop Manager to join its team.

The Anitua Group is growing its reputation for its breadth of services and ability to provide complete end-to-end solutions, spanning industries as diverse as shipping, hospitality, property development, construction, drilling and mining. Each of their businesses provides specialised services supported by a wealth of industry experience. Their group is based mostly on Lihir Island, New Ireland Province, providing a tropical and safe working environment.

Anitua Mining Services is currently seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified Mobile workshop Managers that can work safely with their specialized mobile maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and weekly inspection of facility to ensure smooth operations
• Hire and train maintenance employees to carry out specialized duties
• Delegate maintenance issues to appropriate personnel for effective resolution
• Inspect equipment to identify operational inefficiency and facilitate optimization

Job requirements

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Technical engineering & Business Management from a recognised University
• Minimum of 5 – 10 years’ experience in Mobile Maintenance with at least 5 years in a Manager capacity
• Current driving license and ability to obtain PNG driving license
• People Management Skills
