Work has begun on Kumul Petroleum Holdings Ltd’s US$100 million steel fabrication plant just north-west of Port Moresby. The facility, expected to be completed in early 2025, will boost Papua New Guinea's manufacturing sector, as well as anchoring a new Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in the Caution Bay area.
