ANZ appoints Pacific Regional Executive, new Government Ministers, a new board member at MiBank, Newcrest appoints a new External General Manager and a new Director-General at the Melanesian Spearhead Group.

The ANZ Bank has appointed Tessa Price to the new role of Regional Executive, Pacific Islands. She is the first woman to lead ANZ’s Pacific business and will report to ANZ Group Executive and ANZ New Zealand CEO, David Hisco.

Tobias Kulang has been appointed the new Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture. He takes over from the former minister Justin Tkatchenko, who is now Minister for APEC and Sports. Joe Lera, the Regional Member for Bougainville, has been appointed the Bougainville Affairs Minister.

Robert Bradshaw has been appointed to the board of MiBank, replacing Anthony Smare.

Newcrest Mining has appointed Ian Kemish as its new Executive General Manager, Public Affairs and Social Performance.

The Melanesian Spearhead Group has formally appointed Fijian diplomat, Amena Yauvoli, as its Director-General. He replaces Peter Forau, who resigned four months ago.
