Job Description
The Government and National Public Service is seeking a highly qualified and experienced person to provide leadership and strategic direction to the Milne Bay Provincial Administration.
Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing public service and administrative functions, providing leadership and strategic direction to the Provincial Administration, and leading the implementation of provincial programs, policies, and objectives in line with National Government directives to ensure the people of Milne Bay receive essential goods and services.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree, preferably a master’s, in Public Administration, Economics, Business Administration, Management, or a related field from a recognized university, with academic transcripts and degree certificates.
· An Advanced Diploma of Governance (Leadership and Governance) from SILAG is an advantage.
· Strong knowledge of government political and administrative systems, the Constitution, key provincial and local-level government laws, and relevant public sector legislation, regulations, and financial frameworks.
