A full colour, international quality magazine, Business Advantage Fiji’s purpose is to provide an up-to-date overview of Fiji’s economy for business people with an interest in Fiji – wherever they may be.
Re-launched in 2025, Business Advantage Fiji is Fiji’s international business and investment guide and sister publication to Business Advantage PNG.
It is based on dozens of face-to-face interviews with key Fiji business leaders and in-country research and distributed to business people across the globe to promote Fiji as a business and investment destination. It is also published online.
Business Advantage Fiji is produced in partnership with Investment Fiji, the Fiji government’s investment promotion agency.
The new edition
The 2026/27 edition of Business Advantage Fiji was published in August 2026.
Following its strong rebound from the COVID-19 pandemic, led by its world-class tourism sector, Fiji has – like the rest of the world – felt the impact of higher global oil prices this year. While these have temporarily slowed growth, the longer-term outlook for Fiji’s economy remains healthy, as you’ll hear from the many business leaders we interviewed in preparing this magazine.
Encouragingly, alongside a pipeline of major investments in the tourism sector, we are seeing a focus on improving the enabling environment for business, both in terms of investments in essential infrastructure, and also reforms to approval processes and permitting.
Fiji’s 2026/7 National Budget – the last to be delivered before national elections are due to be held – has helped to set the agenda in this regard.
All this means Fiji now offers genuine opportunities for those looking to invest and build stronger connections in the Pacific. You’ll read about many of these opportunities in this publication.
