Executive Manager (Finance & Accounts)
Vanguard International is seeking a dynamic Executive Manager (Finance & Accounts) for the National Fisheries Authority, a statutory body established under the Fisheries Management Act 1998 (as amended) to sustainably manage and develop Papua New Guinea’s fisheries and marine resources for the benefit of all citizens.
Responsibilities:
The Executive Manager – Finance & Accounts – will lead the Finance Unit, ensuring NFA strategies and plans are implemented in line with policies and procedures. The role also provides sound financial management, accounting advice, and timely executive reporting to support efficient, client-focused service delivery within budget.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience at a senior level in financial management in a statutory authority and or in the private sector.
- First degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business Economics with CPA. Postgraduate qualifications in financial accounting would be an advantage
- Knowledgeable of NFA’s long term financial plans and strategies associated financial and accounting system needs
