This half-day free seminar explores how businesses can use arbitration in their cross-border and domestic dealings to resolve disputes quickly and efficiently outside of the court system. The program will explore:
- How arbitration works and why it is the most used and effective means of resolving business disputes world-wide
- Why arbitration is often the ONLY way for a PNG business to recover money from an offshore-based business
- The power of arbitration to chase assets of a debtor in over 170 countries with relative ease
- Why investors into PNG prefer arbitration to litigation and your business might too
- A high-level overview of the new international and domestic arbitration regime in PNG and how your business can use it.
