Chief Information Officer
PNGJobSeek’s client, The Bank of Papua New Guinea is looking for an experienced, senior IT Manager to fill their Chief Information Officer (CIO) vacancy. Reporting to the Assistant Governor – Corporate Affairs, the role is responsible for the management of the Information Technology Department.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the Bank’s networks, communications, servers, storage, desktops.
- Providing ‘best practice’ application and IT support to all internal users
- Ensuring the Bank’s data recovery and business continuity plans are in place and periodically tested
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Post Graduate qualifications are an advantage – ideally Master Business Administration in Information Communication Technology.
- 10+ years in a senior IT management role in a large organization, with 3+ years’ experience in budget formulation
