PNG Air seeks to hire a qualified individual for the role of Chief Commercial Officer.

A challenging role now exists with PNG Air, as a member of the PNG Air Executive team reporting to the CEO, the Chief Commercial Officer requires collaboration across the entire business with strong communication, influencing and leadership skills.

The Chief Commercial Officer plays a strategic role with overall accountability for driving revenue, market share and growth while containing costs.

Key responsibilities

• Optimise revenue through effective management of aircraft schedules and yield management
• Develop the strategic and commercial acumen required to lead in the competitive markets PNG Air operates and develop our distinctive competitiveness
• Commercially responsible for all charter contracts

Qualifications & skills

• Have a minimum 10 years executive management experience in the aviation/airline industry, preferably with deep Sales and, Marketing knowledge
• Have extensive experience working in challenging environments
• Demonstrate the ability to think strategically and deliver solutions to complex, cross-functional issues
