The Northern Provincial Health Authority Board of Governance is now seeking to recruit a Chief Executive Officer to Manage and administer the affairs of the Provincial Health Authority.
The National Department of Health is streamlining health services at the provincial level through the implementation of the Provincial Health Authorities Act 2007. The Act has been implemented in Oro Province by amalgamating the rural health and the hospital services into a single authority. It is an opportunity for significant changes in transforming the provincial health services into a sustainable, efficient and community focused health care system.
The Northern Provincial Health Authority Board of Governance is now seeking to recruit a Chief Executive Officer to Manage and administer the affairs of the Provincial Health Authority.
The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible to lead management of Northern Provincial Health Authority and develop corporate governance framework and managing day to day financial and business operations of the authority. The incumbent will also work within an innovative public-private partnership model with key partners that are providing technical and operational support to the PHA.
Job requirements
The person sought is to be highly a motivated leader and have outstanding managerial skills with good understanding of overall Government policies governing the health sector. must possess proven skills, with 10 years or more work experience in managing large complex organisation preferably in the health sector and preferably possess a post graduate qualification in health facility management with competencies covering executive leadership, policy formulation and development, finance budgeting and manpower planning, public relations together with managerial capacity at an executive level to implement government policies.
