NICTA is looking for an experienced executive to provide leadership and direction to its team.

Reporting to the Board, the Chief Executive Officer will provide overall leadership and direction for NICTA and be responsible for the Entity’s Strategic Plan, while ensuring organisational performance, and customer service standards are maintained at high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction to the Board and the Executive Management Team in developing and implementing the annual operating plan
• Recommend the annual budget for Board approval and prudently manage NICTA’s resources within budget and according to current Legislations and Regulations;
• Oversee the deployment of NICTA operational activities and work closely with the Executive Management Team to ensure delivery against performance plan;

Qualifications

A person shall be qualified for appointment as the Chief Executive Officer by the Head of the State acting with and in accordance with the advice of the NICTA Appointments Committee is as stipulated in Section 20 of the Act, if that person.
