Reporting to the CEO, the CIO will direct the Bank’s technology agenda and ensure secure, reliable and high-performing systems across cyber security, core banking, infrastructure, applications, digital channels, data and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a technology strategy aligned to the Bank’s transformation and growth plans
- Strengthen cyber security and overall technology resilience
- Ensure core banking systems are stable, scalable and high performing
- Optimise enterprise architecture, infrastructure and applications
- Lead digital transformation and support customer and operational improvements
- Oversee data management, governance and utilisation
- Maintain strong business continuity and disaster recovery readiness
- Manage technology budgets, resources and internal controls
- Collaborate with senior management on technology priorities
- Lead and develop teams across all technology functions

Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA or Master’s in IT are highly regarded.
- 10+ years in senior IT leadership roles, with 5+ years in banking or financial services.
- Strong background in core banking systems, enterprise architecture and cyber security.
- Proven experience leading digital transformation and major technology programs.
- Experience managing complex technology budgets and resources in regulated environments.
