Chief Operating Officer

Location: Port Moresby

Vanguard International is seeking a dynamic Chief Operating Officer for Fisheries Capital Limited. FCL is the fisheries sector’s strategic investment vehicle, advancing government priorities through infrastructure, downstream processing, job creation, and economic growth.

Responsibilities:

The Chief Operating Officer will provide strategic leadership and assess Fisheries Capital Limited’s operational and business performance. Leading the effective delivery of the company’s vision and mission across the fisheries industry, driving operational efficiency, profitability, and sustainability and supporting the organisation’s long-term growth.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marine Science, Fisheries Management, or a related discipline
Master’s degree in business administration, Maritime Economics, Environmental Management, or similar
Minimum of 10–15 years’ progressive senior leadership experience in fisheries, marine industries, or export-oriented enterprises
