Deputy Manager Director

The position is responsible for the administration functions of NEA and reports to the Managing Director and the NEA Board. The Deputy Managing Director must provide strategic leadership to a team of Executive Managers and manage the operations of NEA ensuring that NEA achieve its key objectives and functions set out by the government.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Managing Director in planning, managing and coordination of the NEA and its mandated goals and responsibilities
• Assist the Managing Director to oversee and monitor the operations ofthe NEA
• Secretarial and administrative duties which may include attending to telephones, distribution of correspondence, filing work and arranging meetings

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or other relevant related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years work experience in the energy sector (regulatory, policy etc)
•  Minimum of 5 years at a senior management level in either the public or private sector
