General Manager – Project Management

Vanguard International is recruiting for the position of GENERAL MANAGER – PROJECT MANAGEMENT at PNG Ports Corporation Limited (PNGPCL). Recognised as Papua New Guinea’s leading maritime service provider, PNGPCL stands as the largest port operator in the Southwest Pacific region, excluding Australia and New Zealand.

Responsibilities:

The General Manager – Project Management is responsible for overseeing the effective delivery, governance, and risk management of PNGPCL’s capital investment and port infrastructure program, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s corporate strategy and operational needs.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years’ senior experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or CAPEX programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction, Project Management, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex projects in operational, regulated, or asset-intensive environments.
