Independent Director – Board of Directors (Digital / ICT & Banking)

Location: Port Moresby

Head Hunters is seeking an Independent Director for the National Banking Corporation Board (Digital/ICT & Banking). The candidate will help guide NBC’s strategy, governance, and growth at the highest leadership level.

Responsibilities:

The Independent Director (Digital/ICT & Banking) will contribute to the development and approval of NBC’s strategy, business models, and long-term goals, monitor financial performance, including review and approval of budgets and provide input on major investments, mergers & acquisitions, and capital management initiatives.

Requirements:

10+ years senior leadership experience in banking, finance, ICT, law or risk management.
A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar.
Strong strategic, governance and regulatory expertise.
