Legal Services Manager
CASA PNG is seeking a qualified and experienced Legal Services Manager to provide strategic legal advice and ensure the Authority meets its regulatory and statutory obligations. The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA PNG) is responsible for promoting the safety and security of civil aviation operations throughout Papua New Guinea.
Responsibilities:
The Manager Legal Services is responsible for providing efficient legal support to the Office of the Director through the General Counsel & Board Secretary, and for delivering daily legal, strategic and corporate advice, direction and planning to ensure the Authority meets its regulatory and statutory obligations through its Divisional Business and Operational Plans. The role requires neutrality, confidentiality and legal advice grounded in the law.
Requirements:
- Degree in Law and admitted to the Bar;
- Hold a current Legal Practicing Certificate;
- Minimum of Five (5) years relevant management experience in a similar role or higher preferably in a Corporate or regulatory environment;
- Relevant Court Room experience in the District, National and Supreme Court.
